The Furuno GP-150 DGPS/GPS Marine Navigator with GPA-019S Antenna & Cable is a professional electronic position fixing system (EPFS) designed for commercial marine navigation. Built to comply with IMO MSC.112(73) and associated IEC standards, the GP-150 provides precise vessel positioning and dependable navigation data for safe and efficient operations at sea.
The system includes the GP-150 display unit, GPA-019S DGPS antenna, and antenna cable, providing a complete navigation solution for commercial vessels. The 12-channel all-in-view GPS receiver continuously tracks satellites to deliver accurate latitude, longitude, speed over ground (SOG), course over ground (COG), UTC time, and waypoint navigation information. With DGPS capability, the system achieves positioning accuracy of approximately 5 meters (95%), while WAAS operation can provide even higher accuracy where available.
The GP-150 supports multiple navigation display modes including Video Plotter, Highway, Steering, and Text, allowing navigators to monitor voyage information according to operational requirements. It also features RAIM (Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring) to continuously verify GPS data integrity and improve navigational safety.
