OMICRON

OMICRON is a marine and offshore gas detection technology brand known for fixed gas detection and gas sampling systems designed for demanding vessel and offshore environments. Its OGS product family includes the OGS 2.1 point gas detection system and OGS 3.1/3.11 gas sampling systems. These systems are designed to monitor gas concentrations in areas where conventional gas sensors may be difficult to install, including cargo areas, water ballast tanks, pump rooms, void spaces and other hazardous spaces. The OGS 3.11 is specifically described for typical marine applications, while OGS 3.1 is used extensively in offshore environments such as FPSOs, FLNG units and drilling rigs. The systems have been developed to meet IMO and classification requirements.
